Got the appetite for the world’s biggest chocolate bar? Then head for Chicago where the World’s Finest Chocolate candy company just set the new Guinness World Record for the world’s biggest chocolate bar.
It weighs as massive 12,000 pounds (5,454.55 kilograms) and measures 3 feet wide and 21 feet long. And the ingredients are equally astounding as well. The world’s biggest chocolate bar is made of:



1,200 pounds of almonds
5,500 pounds of sugar
2,000 pounds of milk powder
1,700 pounds of cocoa butter
1,400 pounds of chocolate liquor

But despite its size, the 12,000 chocolate bar is not meant whet our appetites (are you kidding?). According to the World’s Finest Chocolate company, the world’s biggest chocolate bar was made to illustrate ‘portion distortion’ to school children.


“We purposely made this bar to be an example of portion distortion,” said a company spokesman. “We’re committed to educating families about eating right and staying active and doing it in a fun and engaging way.” (Yeah, right!)


I don’t know about school children, but a chocolate bar that size will certainly give me the wrong message.
